The Accolades
Moving forward and striving for excellence, UiTM GESTURZ has received numerous prestigious accolades. Among these honours are the Bronze Award at the UiTM Industry & Alumni Relations Excellence Award in 2014 (A joint community project with Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia to raise funds for visually impaired students of SMK Pendidikan Khas Setapak, Kuala Lumpur), the Bronze Award for Best International Print Advertisement at QS-Apple in 2017, and the Silver Award for Best International Print Advertisement, as well as being a finalist in all categories, at QS-Apple in 2018. The success story continued in 2019 when UiTM GESTURZ won the Bronze Award for Best TVC at QS-Apple and finally brought home the Gold Award for Best International Print Advertisement in 2020. The QS Apple Creative Award honours and recognises creative and compelling designs that epitomise effective communication and brand building. The competition is participated in by universities in the Asia Pacific region; therefore, it is evident that these accolades highlight the exceptional creativity and international standards of the advertising campaigns showcased by the UiTM curation team.
The UiTM Ads Campaign, which was presented for QS-Apple, was a project led by the Institute for Quality and Knowledge Advancement (InQKA) as part of an initiative to increase global visibility and ranking. The project is coordinated by its Ranking & Rating Unit (Now known as the Department of Ranking under the purview of UiTM Global). Since its inception, the project has been supported by numerous departments and faculties, with the participation of staff, students, alumni, and industry partners under one special curation team anchored by UiTM GESTURZ.
In addition to the QS-Apple awards, UiTM GESTURZ was honoured at the Asia PIXI Award, where it was named Runner-Up Winner in the Education Sector. The Asia PIXI Award, presented by Fuji Xerox Asia, recognises the finest in printing quality and innovation. This honour emphasises UiTM GESTURZ's dedication to excellence.
