UiTM GESTURZ drives an important agenda as a Curation and Engagement Centro that supports Sustainable Creativity in numerous event platforms such as exhibitions, creative tourism (tour programs guided local & international) seminars, workshops, creativity programs and special curation projects. 

Specially curated for people and organisations, UiTM GESTURZ spearheads a vital agenda as a Curation and Engagement Centro dedicated to fostering Sustainable Creativity across various event platforms. 

Its primary functions encompass the tasks of the 4Cs: Collect, Care, Curate, and Communicate, overseeing the university's permanent collection, the Budiman collection, and commercial collection consignments.These include organising and managing exhibitions, creative tourism (featuring guided tours for local and international), seminars, workshops, creativity events, and special curation projects.

The programmes and activities are strategically aligned with key performance indicators such as PI017 – Number of Cultural Works or Exhibitions, PI057 – Number of publications published, and PI069 – Number of Intellectual Property Rights (Copyrights). Moreover, the impacts generated are meticulously tracked in terms of their contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations.

The transformation of UiTM GESTURZ has enabled the organisation to provide services in a “university-centric” governance. Activities that largely focus on engagement and curation can now be extended and refined, while the task of promoting UiTM can collectively be executed through collaborative efforts involving many departments and even industry. 

The Centro is ready to move forward; learning from the past, and making the most out of the present. There are opportunities in every challenge that presents itself, transforming the Centro into a more agile and mature presence that further drives the university’s agenda, looking into the bright side of every challenge.
